Data and privacy

This page describes the panel screens you can use to meet data-subject requests.

Export

Contact and request lists export as CSV and cover all history. Export is limited to your own workspace; another business's data does not leave the system.

A single conversation transcript is exported from the Conversation transcript (KVKK) link in the right-hand panel of a conversation in the inbox. That dump contains the full text of that conversation.

The bulk conversation dump, where you can pick a period, is on the Reports page.

Retention period

You can set a retention preference in the panel: indefinitely (the default), 6 months, 12 months, 24 months or 36 months.

Retention is currently a preference

No cleanup job that applies the period you choose is running yet. We store the preference, but we do not automatically delete data at the interval you entered. When a request arrives you have to work through it manually from this screen. Read this as a description of current behaviour, not as a retention commitment.

Deletion requests

Deleting a person is done with the Delete person button on their contact card. What is deleted: the person, their tags and their custom field values.

What is not deleted: conversations and requests. They stay in the record and only the link to the person is removed. This is deliberate; the request history is a business record and is not meant to disappear through a bulk delete.

Deletion requests arriving through Meta channels are a separate legal flow handled by Dolphy; deleting a person in the panel does not replace it.

Your responsibility

Technical controls do not replace legal obligations. You define which data is processed, for what purpose, on what legal basis, for how long, and how people exercise their rights. Items that must not be left out of scope: the information notice, consent where explicit consent is required, and data-breach notification.
